The remote is patched for Solid 2100 DLX, and other SOLID boxes.
Youtube is working in this software.
Youtube has some issue playing videos if connected via HDMI cable. It works smoothly with AV cable.
Returning to company firmware can be done using USB Update option. However if you want to install K5S firmware then you will need programmer.

This firmware belongs to MIX HD set top box. This is a 8MB standard
firmware which works for montage set top box. You can install this
firmware using flash.bin method if you are using standard firmware. If
you are using k5s or hellobox firmware then you can use auto_burn.fac
method.

Thanks for visiting Freesat Tracker. Here you will find original K5S Hellobox Firmware. Most users hate patched logos and patched information within the firmware and due to this demand I am providing the original firmware.
Hellobox firmware which was previously free is now a paid firmware. However, if you already have an old license code(L-CODE) then you can unlock the paid firmware and use it for free. However, with the free code you will not be able to use S-CAM feature which decrypts paid channels of some satellites.
As a free satellite tracker, I neither support making payments for firmware updates, nor support watching paid content without legally paying to the rightful content owners. I am sharing the firmware for those who have acquired the free license code and wish to continue using the firmware or update them.

This is K5S V5 Firmware which features Autoroll. This means whenever you try to play a channel locked with BISS key like channels from Thaikom 78 East they will start playing after few seconds and the biss keys will be automatically saved into your receiver.
Another key feature is that this K5S firmware supports 88 East Ku Band(D2H) decryption via cc cam While most Firmware supports mg cam only this specific firmware supports the cheaper alternative for this particular satellite. For this, set Key to blank and disable CW checking.
The firmware also has dvbfinder which is working and you can use it for dish tracking.
You can also upload m3u files into the receiver and watch iptv channels of your choice.
Youtube does not work as this is old firmware.
The menu is clean with hellobox like buttons and grey channel information.
The firmware is customized for SOLID 2100 DLX, SOLID 2100 PRO, SOLID 7272, SOLID 8181 and will work with Solid Remote control. It support MT 7601 dongle for Wifi.
Firmware can be installed using Hellobox converter, auto_burn.fac or F112 method.
Remember to do a factory reset after installing the firmware.
